PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Allegra Nursing and Rehab is looking a Certified Occupational Therapy assistant to aide in the restoration and enhancement of independent function and maximizes independence in those individuals whose living status has been compromised by illness and / or injury.
This position is an IN HOUSE position. Allegra does not contr. act out therapy services. We are looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant that can work PRN on a fairly consistent basis
Certified Occupational Thearpist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
- Provides treatment which meets needs and uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with the Facility clinical procedures.
- Treats patients under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, communicates with families, physicians and other interdisciplinary team members, and documents services in the medical record.
- Provides accurate, complete, and clear documentation.
- Consistently demonstrate the Facility’s interdisciplinary approach to resident / patient care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.
