What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at Allegrone Companies?
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Interior Designer to become an integral part of our design team.
As Interior Designer, you will oversee the design and decorative process for all interior spaces from start to finish. Main duties include establishing design plans, specifying and sourcing materials and products, and making final finish decisions, such as flooring, tile, cabinetry, plumbing and lighting fixtures, paint – the works!
From homeowners to corporations, we serve a wide variety of clients, presenting us with new challenges and opportunities every day.
Responsibilities
- Visit job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and purpose of space.
- Attend client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences in regards to interior styles and colors.
- Create initial design sketches, color themes, mood boards and ideas based on client requirements and space availability.
- Obtain approval from clients prior to submitting final finish decisions and specifications to the construction team.
- Arrange client visits and update the design team on interior finish selections and progress.
- Work closely with Project Architect in reviewing project submittals
Qualifications
- Degree or Certification in Interior Design (preferred but not required)
- 5-10 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer on both residential and commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Advanced attention to detail
- Strong creativity, artistic ability and imagination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Knowledge of quality and location of raw materials
- Ability to coordinate with multiple members on the team and resolve any issues that may cause delays in operation or progress of project
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,878.27 - $99,850.63 per year
