Job Summary
We are looking for a contract Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. Customer Service represents the value and spirit of the company to our customers both short term and long term. You will own the first impressions and your long-term interaction will be the deciding factor in retaining and building the relationship going forward. In many ways, you are the heart and soul of the company.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review for accuracy, and process customer orders, utilizing the ERP program.
- Manage order entry workload so that orders were entered the day received
- Reception duties; answering incoming calls, emails and faxes
- Address incoming customer inquiries and offer productive solutions that increased customer satisfaction
- Assist consumers with questions regarding our product
- Coordinate orders with production and facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Prepares loads for shipment, Bills of Lading and Custom Invoice
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates to keep costs down where possible
- Resolve customer complaints. Investigate and take action to resolve
- Coordinate and assemble samples and literature for customer and/or Sales
- Perform other job-related duties as required
Qualifications
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to interface with all levels of management
- Detail-oriented, well organized, and a proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team
- Technology savvy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ customer service experience within a fast-paced environment
- Business Diploma/Degree
