The Legal Content & Marketing Specialist is a key member of the marketing team responsible for creating and executing compelling content strategies that generate leads and build brand awareness for the firm. This role requires a strong understanding of legal principles, exceptional writing and editing skills, and experience with digital marketing, including video content creation, and social media management.

Job Duties :

Content Creation :

Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various channels, including website copy, blog posts, articles, case studies, client testimonials, social media posts, email newsletters, and video scripts.

Conduct legal research and stay up to date on industry trends to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.

Video Content Creation :

Plan, script, and produce engaging video content (e.g., client testimonials, attorney spotlights, firm overviews, etc.) for use on the firm's website, social media channels, and other platforms.

Social Media Management :

Manage and grow the firm's social media presence across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube).

Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Monitor social media conversations and engage with followers.

Lead Generation :

Develop and implement lead generation strategies through content marketing and other digital channels.

Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

Branding and Messaging :

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the firm's brand identity and messaging.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.

Client Communication :

Communicate effectively with clients and potential clients through various channels.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

3 years of experience in content marketing and / or digital marketing.

Experience in creating and producing video content (e.g., scripting, editing, video production).

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in SEO and content marketing best practices.

Experience with social media management tools and platforms.

Proficiency in project management and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of legal terminology and practices is a plus.

Experience working in a law firm environment is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Requirements :

General office environment requires sitting for long periods of time, occasional periods of standing and walking.

Visual capability to work viewing a computer monitor for several hours of the day.

The ability to work in an office environment around others.

The ability to exhibit manual dexterity and use standard office equipment such as phones, keyboards, and copiers for extended periods of time.
