Position Summary : We are seeking a driven, responsible facilities technician intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of the Maintenance Team and Chef’s Warehouse / Alen Brothers daily routines and procedures.
The internship will be from May 27th through August 13th
What you’ll do :
- Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Run general industry related errands
- Research and gather documentation on company positions in the industry
- Attend company functions and networking events
