Reporting to our Digital Communications Supervisor, our Digital Communications Specialist performs a variety of duties related to the design, implementation and maintenance of the Library's web-based communications and marketing efforts. This person will work closely with Library staff to ensure efficient and effective use of resources to improve the digital user experience.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week (hourly/non-exempt) position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in growing social media followings and engagement rates
- Proficiency in advanced graphic design and video editing tools
- Experience with social media management tools
- Experience in planning and executing social media campaigns.
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising and associated metrics
- Understanding of SEO principles and their application to social media content
- Experience with Innovative products and other software systems in use at ACPL including but not limited to: Wix, Vega, Communico, Polaris, Orangeboy/Savannah, FreshService, Adobe Cloud Creative
- Familiarity or experience with video/audio production software and/or photo editing and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Social Media Management certification from Hootsuite Academy, HubSpot Academy, or the like
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, web development, or a related field; AND
- Two (2) years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media management, or web development; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience
- Compensation for this position falls under our P2 pay grade. The minimum is $48k per year; mid-range is $62k per year; maximum is $76k per year. Offers are based on previous related and comparable experience
