What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal/Legal Assistant position at Allen Law Office PLLC?
Under the direct supervision of an attorney, this position will:
- Assist in the drafting of estate planning and trust administration documents;
- Meet with clients to prepare for attorney meetings
- Meet and communicate with clients and client advisors;
- Record deeds with county recorders offices
- Maintain client files and prepare materials for client meetings;
- Calendar critical deadlines and meetings.
- Client interface and scheduling.
- Prepare/print/compile estate documents for signing.
- Maintain neat and tidy office

Essential Duties:
· Knowledge of estate planning, including trusts.
· Monitor attorney calendars for upcoming client meetings and preparation of asset spreadsheets.
· Prepare documents such as deeds, letters of financial instruction, and beneficiary forms.
· Follow-up with attorneys following client meeting to ensure documents have been drafted.
· This position requires client contact as well as contact with other professionals and court staff.
· Experience in drafting simple wills and other estate planning documents is a plus.

Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certificate is preferred. Any satisfactory combination of experience and education will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
