Logan Law firm has an immediate opening for a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal. MS Word, Excel, and other general office computer skills required. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, completes tasks promptly and with accuracy, has the ability to learn skills quickly, is efficient in prioritization, and has the ability to handle multiple tasks assigned. Will be responsible for answering calls, scheduling appointments, scheduling deadlines, drafting pleadings, typing letters and other legal documents, scheduling depositions, file organization, tracking discovery, inputting information into file database, and various other tasks. Previous experience as a legal assistant is not necessarily required. Will train the right person. Starting pay may increase depending on experience.
