Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage underground utility construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from conception to completion
- Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to develop project plans and schedules
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress and address any issues or concerns
- Manage and coordinate the activities of construction crews and subcontractors
- Review and approve project designs, blueprints, and schematics
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for construction projects
- Ensure compliance with specs, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
Skills:
- Familiarity with municipal sewer and water infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specs
