Pest Control Technician – Termite Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Pest Control Technician with specialized experience in termite control to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pest management solutions for both residential and commercial clients, with a focus on termite inspection and treatment services.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect properties for signs of pest infestations, including termites, rodents, insects, and other unwanted pests
- Accurately identify pest species and determine appropriate treatment strategies
- Prepare and apply pesticides, baits, and other pest control products according to label instructions and safety guidelines
- Conduct detailed termite inspections using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Administer termite treatments, including but not limited to soil treatments, baiting systems, and wood treatments
- Advise clients on termite prevention and long-term protection strategies
- Educate clients on general pest prevention, exclusion methods, and sanitation practices
- Maintain accurate service records, treatment logs, and chemical usage reports
- Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local pest control regulations, as well as company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pest control is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in termite inspection and treatment
- Must hold a valid and current termite control license
- Valid pesticide applicator’s license in good standing, or the ability to obtain one before hire
- In-depth knowledge of termite biology, treatment methods, and monitoring systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical capability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in crawl spaces and varied environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
