Food Service Aide

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Food Service Aide to join our team and assist with the preparation and serving of high-quality meals for our residents. The Food Service Aide will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with the production of menu items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare patient trays according to instructions and diet order.

• Assist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food items

• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food

• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Basic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines

• Basic math skills
