The Allentown Rescue Mission, a Christian non-profit men's homeless shelter, has an opening for a Communications Specialist for our Development Department. The Allentown Rescue Mission is more than a homeless shelter. We offer several programs designed to help homeless men change their lives and become productive members of society. We are looking for an effective communicator who wants to represent the Mission's brand to our community, social media outlets, donors, volunteers, corporate sponsors and friends of the Mission.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an independently driven communication professional with high initiative to interface between the Mission and our numerous supporters - and ultimately make a difference in the lives of homeless men.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Project Management
- Plan, create and execute digital campaigns
- Manage social media platforms and websites
- Monitor and analyze digital metrics
- Proofreading skills
