The Implementation Manager is a pharmacy technician certified by a nationally accredited pharmacy technician certification program. This position serves as a liaison between the franchise partners and Vital Care Infusion Services to ensure all onboarding tasks meet expectations, are guided by precedent, and work in compliance with established policy. This position also provides ongoing consultative support and educational development services as needed. Support and development activities provided by this position must meet applicable regulatory compliance and industry expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- compliance with USP Chapter and USP Chapter regulations and any applicable state Board of Pharmacy regulations related to compounding rooms, devices, supplies, and personnel. This includes supporting new franchisees and approved vendors with ISO classified areas, verifying that recommended products used meet USP requirements for sterile compounding, and supporting the training efforts for new compounding personnel.
- Supports developing and revising facility design resources and sterile compounding training resources for franchise employees.
- Provides consultative support and guidance to new infusion pharmacy franchises in areas related to facility construction, sterile compounding, preparing for and responding to initial regulatory surveys and inspections, vendor management, optimal workflow strategies, new hire orientation, annual training, and other pharmacy operational activities.
- Review current onboarding program standards, resources, and educational programs on an ongoing basis; document and revise them as needed to meet franchise needs and regulatory standards.
- Develops, interacts with, and maintains effective relationships with sterile compounding-related equipment and supply vendors serving the franchise network; supports timely order, delivery, and equipment installation at each franchise location.
- Develops, facilitates, and serves as the Company’s liaison with franchise owners, their construction contractor teams, and Vital Care’s vendors to ensure timely construction project completion.
- Serves as a resource concerning accreditation, pharmacy, and sterile compounding-related regulations and standards.
- Facilitate internal collaboration to ensure key milestones are completed on time and meeting expectations.
- Analyze, review, and report on progress with team members and business partners.
- Complete assigned projects efficiently and effectively based on departmental expectations.
- Follow the established protocol for implementing new franchises while being solution-oriented and resourceful to identify challenges and opportunities proactively throughout the process.
- Facilitate and manage franchises within the company’s project management system.
- Collaborate and delegate critical onboarding tasks to subject matter experts in response to franchise location requests for assistance.
- Engage in consistent and timely follow-up communications with franchise partners using various media platforms (i.e., text, email, Microsoft Teams).
- Communicates and provides reports to leadership as requested.
- Follows and abides by all company policies and procedures.

- Prior experience in roles involving sterile compounding and infusion pharmacy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- High school diploma/associate degree or equivalent.
- Certification from a nationally accredited pharmacy technician certification program and maintaining ongoing education requirements are preferred.
- Prior experience in roles involving infusion pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation preferred.
