The Accounts Payable Clerk II is responsible for assisting the Accounting Director and / or CFO with daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to support administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payroll transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality in handling financial and employee information.
- Process credit card, ACH, and patient payments.
- Allocate interest on checking accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in resolving accounts receivable and billing issues.
- Prepare, key, and post general ledger journal entries.
- Record property, plant, and equipment transactions.
- Prepare invoices and other financial documentation as required.
- Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.
- Collaborate with department managers and assist with accounting-related inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.
