Summary
Responsible for reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers as it pertains to day-to-day deposit operations, Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing, wire processing, and deposit account operations. Responsible for either managing Overdraft Program or managing Quality Control process. Provides exceptional support to clients and bank personnel.
Essential Functions

- A specialty in one of the following:
- Manage Overdraft Program, including reviewing daily NSF activity, calling NSF clients, managing ODP (or AOD) limits, overseeing program documentation and processes, and staff training
- Manage Quality Control process, including reviewing DDA, SAV, TDA, ATS, SDB & Card new accounts and file maintenance, ensuring proper documentation is scanned in CenterDoc, communicating errors to staff or making corrections, following up on corrections, providing feedback to Retail Risk Officer if training needs are identified, and maintaining procedures
- Balance various bank accounts, including Demand Deposit (DDA), Savings, Certificates of Deposit (CD) and Individual Retirement Account (IRA) applications, and general ledger activity.
- Process EIP items, chargebacks and check adjustments.
- Process ACH transaction, including verifying account information and processing returns, maintaining knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, and processing client disputes within regulatory timeframes.
- Review and approve Mobile Deposits.
- Process incoming and outgoing, foreign and domestic wire transfer requests.
- Respond to client and bank personnel inquiries, and problem solve deposit account related issues.
- Fulfill request for statement copies and statement generation.
- Process returned mail.
- Process verification of deposit requests.
- Manage escheatment process, including identifying unclaimed property, attempting to find the owner, and reporting abandoned property to the state.
- Complete department duties and reconciliations in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
- Promote the bank’s products and services.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Full-time employee must work 35-40 hours per week average to maintain
full-time status.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Deposit operations experience preferred
