In this role, the Deposit Operations Associate is responsible for assisting and supporting day-to-day operations, including providing direct branch support in ensuring superior member service. The primary duties include ensuring accuracy of transaction processing, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and providing product and service support to members.
The functions of the Deposit Operations Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Processing of multiple ACH file exemptions
- Reconciling of daily settlement General Ledgers
- Processing Tax Levies, Garnishments and Verification of Deposits (VOD)
- Processing Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) by reviewing and approving items while mitigating potential fraud risk

Assisting with:
- Processing of daily chargebacks
- Wire Transfer Requests
- Completing additional projects as requested
In addition, the Deposit Operations Associate is responsible for:
- Assisting with necessary Account File Maintenance and various report auditing
- Addressing Member needs
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices
To be considered for the Deposit Operations Associate position, you must have:
- At least two years of financial institution experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Ability to multitask and prioritize without supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organization skills, and proven problem-solving ability
- Ability to work extended hours as business needs may require
- Proven ability to work as a team member and successfully interact with multiple internal departments and branch personnel
Desired qualifications are:
- Familiarity with NACHA Operating Rules
- Working knowledge of the Corelation Keystone Processing System
- Knowledge of Regulation CC Check Hold Policy
