Shift : Full Time (9 AM - 5 PM)
Salary : $18 - $20 per hour
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Intake : Receive referrals from hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers, and screen potential patients for eligibility.
- Initial Contact : Contact patients / families to explain dialysis options and the admission process.
- Insurance Verification : Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and address billing concerns.
- Medical Record Review : Review patient records to assess suitability for dialysis and identify special needs.
- Scheduling Appointments : Schedule initial assessments, orientation sessions, and dialysis treatment start dates.
- Patient Education : Provide basic information on dialysis treatment, access options, and medication management.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, insurance, and progress notes.
- Communication : Collaborate with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Facility Tours : Conduct facility tours for patients and families, showcasing services and amenities.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations related to dialysis patient admissions.
