- Our goal, as a science team, is to ensure all scholars can apply what they are learning in the classroom to their real lives and can advocate for change on scientific issues.
- Teachers have access to NGSS-aligned curricula, such as Amplify Science in Middle School and Discovery Techbook, in High School to engage scholars using science and engineering practices so scholars are doing science.
- During the year we offer learning opportunities in a variety of ways: formal PDs, embedded departmental and individual coaching, learning modules to collaborate with science teams across schools, and book clubs around culturally relevant STEM education.
