We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers as needed.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using RF scanners.
- Implement procedures for heavy lifting and handling of materials safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development of operational strategies to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar managerial role within a warehouse environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
