HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
TERM: 12 months
POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resource Generalist/Recruiter will support the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff and be responsible for enforcing company policies and practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Post job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms
- Review and screen resumes and applications
- Conduct initial interviews to assess applicants’ skills, knowledge, and cultural fit
- Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
- Organize and facilitate hiring procedures and paperwork
- Coordinate and conduct background checks and reference checks
- Manage and update candidate information in the company’s recruitment database
- Communicate regularly with potential candidates, building a pipeline of talent
- Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods and best practices
- Assist with employer branding initiatives and develop a strong employer brand
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
- Must have current clearances (Child Abuse; Criminal; and FBI Background check)
- The individual(s) currently holding this position perform additional duties and additional duties may be assigned. There will be an annual performance evaluation for this position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL PROFILE: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
