The Licensing Administrator must have the ability to identify problems, gather relevant information, analyze data, and draw well-supported conclusions. Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment are essential to effectively address issues related to clinical supervision and licensing compliance.

Alliance Human Services, Inc. has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Licensing Administrator with a Clinical & Social Worker/Case Manager Supervisor background to join our not-for-profit, therapeutic foster care agency, located in Danville, VA. We are looking for a qualified individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field (see below) Master’s preferred.

Education and/ or Experience:
REQUIRED BACHELORS : At least 3 years of experience in clinical supervision or case management. If you possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field of Social work or Sociology, Psychology, Special Education or Counseling.
OR
PREFERRED MASTERS: At least 3 years of experience in managing clincial documentation within a regulated environment. If you possess a Master’s Degree in a related field of social work or Sociology, Psychology, Special Education or Counseling.

What does the workday include?
· Providing oversight and guidance on clinical documentation, ensuring that case notes and incident reports meet agency, regulatory, and quality standards.
· Ensuring all documentation aligns with CARF standards and licensing requirements and is submitted accurately and on time. By reviewing and approving clinical case notes to ensure they meet state, agency, and licensing standards.
· Maintaining accurate records and overseeing timely submission of documentation through systems like Child Trax.
· Conducting regular audits of case files to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Ensuring full compliance with CARF standards by maintaining accurate documentation, following established procedures, and meeting all regulatory requirements. Regularly review and update processes to align with CARF guidelines.
· Training staff on clinical documentation standards and licensing requirements.
· Conducting individual supervision sessions focused on improving staff documentation skills and compliance.
· Leading staff through updates in policies and procedures related to clinical documentation and licensing.
· Participating in the recruitment and hiring of quality staff.
· Communicating with the Executive Director regarding compliance issues, potential risks, and program updates.
· Maintaining strong relationships with Director of Compliance & Risk Management, state licensing authorities, and external partners.
