Alliance Urgent Care & Family Practice is currently seeking applicants for a Medical Administrative Assistant. We believe our patients select us because of our caring and attentive staff who are focused on our mission of providing efficient service and meaningful care experiences centered around the healing ministry of Christ.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in both Medical Administration and some accounts receivable functions.
Hours: FULL TIME 4 scheduled 10 hour duty days per week around the hours of 8am-7pm Mon-Fri / Sat 8-3
Sample schedule:
Monday 7:50-5
Tuesday 7:50-6
Wednesday - 8-7
Thursday - OFF
Friday - 8-7
Saturday 8-3 *this is a rotating Saturday shift (biased on a 6 week schedule - if work Saturday, then have Monday off).
Summary: Assists in an administrative capacity with clinic preparations and patient documentation to support patient centered care in an ambulatory practice setting as part of a collaborative team.
Essential Job duties: (including, but not limited to) Participates in patient check-in, check-out, referrals, billing functions, insurance verification, prior authorizations, medical records, and phone scheduling.
Qualifications: 1 year previous medical administration and ambulatory care experience preferred.
The ideal Medical Administrative Assistant candidate: Supports our mission and values. Be a person of good moral and ethical character. Will have prior Family Practice experience. Can treat patients of all ages with a full range of medical needs. (This includes acute, wellness, and chronic care). Can work 10 hr scheduled duty days around our hours of operation. Be consistently on time and present to the scheduled shifts. Can work with patients and co-workers of all ages and backgrounds. Possess knowledge of business office procedures. Possess strong communication skills (in person and over the phone). Have knowledge of computer systems / accurate typing with moderate speed required (50 wpm). Possess the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with patients, employees and the public. Can communicate fluidly with patients and staff in English. Is well organized and detail-oriented. Can multi task, complete assigned tasks, and work as a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
