Description
Summary/Purpose of the Position:
Operate and maintain flexographic label printing equipment, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality output, and timely project completion. This intermediate-level role requires strong knowledge of flexographic printing processes, troubleshooting issues, and experience working independently.
Essential Duties, Functions, And/or Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic label printing equipment
- Follow established procedures and best practices for flexographic printing
- Ensure high-quality output in line with company standards and customer requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to flexographic printing processes and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment
- Train and mentor junior press operators, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Flexo Label Press Lead
- Mark Andy 2200 experience
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in flexographic label printing
- Strong knowledge of flexographic printing processes and equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
