ATG is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer/TIA Lead for our growing Austin, Texas office. This position will be a key hire to help grow our Traffic Engineering practice.
The Traffic Engineer/TIA Lead will be involved in Traffic Impact Analysis project development including business development, client satisfaction, quality control/quality assurance, and project financial performance. This team leader will spend significant time building the ATG brand with prospective clients and review agency staff members and will help recruit, coach, and grow a team.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
- PE License in Texas (or ability to acquire this within 3 months).
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in traffic engineering.
- Expertise using engineering software (ie., Synchro, Vissim, Excel, Word, ArcGIS, etc.), development codes, manuals and methodologies required for above projects.
Desired Qualifications:
- Existing relationships with development community.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Strong team-building and team management skills.
