- Identify new opportunities, build relationships with developers, agencies, and municipalities, and secure contracts for traffic engineering services.
- Stay informed on local development trends, zoning changes, and regulatory updates to anticipate market needs and proactively offer solutions
- Develop alliances with engineering firms, land-use planners, and environmental consultants to enhance service offerings and increase project opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events.
- Oversee the preparation of TIAs for various development projects, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality, on-time submissions.
- Support junior staff in developing technical and client management skills
- Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
- PE License in Texas.
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in traffic engineering.
- Expertise using engineering software (ie., Synchro, Vissim, Excel, Word, ArcGIS, etc.), development codes, manuals and methodologies required for above projects.
- Existing relationships with development community.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Strong team-building and team management skills.
