Alliance Workforce is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a food manufacturing company’s corporate office in Boca Raton. This role reports to the Director of Finance and ensures accurate financial transactions in compliance with GAAP.
Schedule: The position will require 2-3 weeks of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM).
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, match purchase orders, and obtain approvals.
- Prepare check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
- Publish AP aging reports and escalate critical vendor issues.
- Manage vendor relations and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records, general ledger entries, and assist with audits.
- Support month-end close and journal entry processes.
Requirements:
- 1 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel for financial reporting.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
