Alliant Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food Safety Inspector to join our team full-time and support BMW in Greer, SC. The ideal candidate will have extensive auditing experience in food safety systems and be proficient in ensuring compliance with ISO 22001 : 2018 standards. The role will primarily focus on auditing food service facilities while providing detailed reporting and documentation for compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform food safety audits in accordance with ISO 22001 : 2018 standards.
- Conduct audits using the existing BMW audit guideline, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
- Lead or support audits with a focus on areas like food manufacturing processes, restaurant environments, and food service operations.
- Document and report audit findings clearly and concisely, ensuring accuracy and alignment with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and resolve any identified issues or non-conformities.
- Provide recommendations for improving food safety practices and maintaining industry standards.
- Be physically able to walk large plant sites and conduct thorough, on-site inspections.
- Manage and execute audits in field and office settings (3 days per week in the field, 2 days per week for reporting / meetings).
