Business Development Representative

LOCATION : Seattle

SALARY : $90,000 - $120,000 DOE

JOB TYPE : Full Time

ABOUT THE JOB :

Essential Responsibilities

  • Resolve complaints and problems, providing information to Service and Sales Managers as necessary.
  • Meet face-to-face with existing and new clients.
  • Participate in a team atmosphere between sales, management, and field operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial markets and assigned verticals.
  • Network and gain knowledge regarding potential customers.
  • Conduct cold calls, site visits, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to assess client needs and address any concerns.
  • Monitor the existing customer base for opportunities that result in additional profitable work.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of HVAC systems and services.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Interact and collaborate regularly with other departments to meet organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and competitor offerings.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualification Requirements :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Proven experience in HVAC sales, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
