The position will provide direct support to the Wellness Director in administration of assigned programs and duties including, but not limited to: coordinating nutrition & fitness classes, promote and create awareness of health initiatives, motivate employees to actively participate in wellness programs and utilize the fitness center, perform research on relevant health & wellness topics, contribute to the planning process of all wellness programs. This candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the fitness center operations Responsibilities Exemplifies and promotes the wellness mission “Strong in Mind, Strong in Body”. Develops relationships with employees to promote participation in regular physical activity. Demonstrates a willingness to set goals and assume ownership of responsibilities. Assists in the development, administration, and production of programs that promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle. Coordinates and publishes a monthly calendar for all wellness activities including employee wellness programs, fitness center classes, on-site wellness events, and employee lunches. Sends weekly reminders about upcoming fitness classes and wellness events. Possesses the ability to speak in front of large audiences and assist with presentations. Qualifications BS or BA in a health and fitness related field required. One year of experience in a fitness or wellness role. Specialty certification in fitness or wellness is preferred. Possess excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate others. Collaborate and work with a diverse group as part of a high energy team. Do Work That Matters. alliantgroup.
