Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Utilize retail math skills to process transactions and provide change accurately.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately.

• Experience in a grocery store setting is a plus but not mandatory.
