Qualifications
To excel as a Respiratory Therapist, you must deliver superior quality care with compassion and empathy. You should be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key requirements include:
- Graduate of a respiratory care program
- Current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state
- RRT or CRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Critical Care experience in a hospital setting is preferred
