We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at Allied Digestive Health in Albany, NY. As a key member of our gastroenterology department, you will be responsible for managing the health problems of patients and coordinating their healthcare in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient health status
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Provide exceptional patient service skills and display courteousness and respect
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and APRN program
• Current licensure as an APRN in New York State and DEA certificate
• Strong primary care or hospitalist experience and clinical management skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills, including electronic medical records and MS Office
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA laws and ability to follow guidelines
• Hospital privileges and current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
