Nurse Practitioner - GI Experience Required at Allied Digestive Health
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner with gastroenterology experience to manage health problems and coordinate healthcare for patients at Allied Digestive Health.
This role includes both outpatient and inpatient duties, requiring collaboration with healthcare team members and compliance with healthcare regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and possess the necessary certifications and licenses to deliver quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage health problems and coordinate healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
- Comply with standards of care, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients.
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Hospital privileges or eligibility for hospital privileges.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Accurate and timely completion of duties.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in good standing.
- Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS.
