Nurse Practitioner-GI Experience a Must
At Allied Digestive Health, we are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner with Gastroenterology experience for our Teaneck location in Bergen County, NJ.
This role combines both outpatient and inpatient duties, where the Nurse Practitioner will manage health issues and coordinate care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
A licensed independent practitioner, you will need to comply with state and federal regulations and possess the required certifications and experience in gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage health problems and coordinate health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
• Comply with standards of care, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients.
• Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Hospital privileges, or eligible for them.
• Ability to multitask with sharp attention to detail and perform duties accurately in a timely and efficient manner.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in NY, in good standing.
• Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS.
