Hardware Asset Management Technician - EUC
*JOB DESCRIPTION
The position of HAM Technician – End User Computing - performs asset management activities of end user computing equipment and peripheral equipment at a corporate location.
The candidate works on assignments of a diverse scope where analysis of data and hardware requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The candidate exercises judgment with supervision within the generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and acts as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution.
Essential duties for the position are primarily Asset management related. This includes inventories, CMDB input/analysis, asset audit, asset reporting, and other related duties.
Must be able to speak to and answer the following questions:
- What is the asset life cycle based on ITIL 4.0 standards?
- How to you track assets?
- What is your inventory process?
- How do you optimize the cost of all assets?
- You sent the user a monitor and it was broken – what do you do?
- Data management process?
- What is your asset disposal process?
- What do you do if you are unable to find a laptop?
- How do you recycle a laptop?
- What do you do with asset destruction?

Experience:
- Must have Asset management experience.
- Must have ITIL 4.0 knowledge
- Requires 3 years of related work experience
- Must have a strong A technical aptitude.
Certifications:

- ITIL 4.0 Skillset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
