Allied Machine & Engineering, headquartered in Dover, Ohio, is a leading global manufacturer of hole making and finishing cutting tool systems. Our tooling solutions deliver the lowest cost per hole in a wide range of applications.
- Location: 485 W. 3rd St Dover, OH
- Permanent Schedule: C Crew (5:00am - 5:00pm)
- Training Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
- Schedule: 3-2-3 (Work 3 days, off 2 days, & work 3 days - working every other weekend)
REPORTS TO: Mill Holder Supervisor
ROLE: To effectively setup and Run Production on Special & Standard Product
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Upload & Download programs.
- Effectively setup & Grind parts to print Dimensions.
- Inspect parts for Quality, per Inspection Plan.
- Effectively run production.
- May be required to lift or assist with lifting 30 pounds or more.
- Observe and report any areas that need addressed.
- Process orders according to appropriate schedule and/or Supervisor’s direction and properly stage product for next operation.
- Associate shall maintain the appropriate tool kit per the "Associate Tool Policy".
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Experience
- Working knowledge in the manufacture of holders.
- Previous Grind experience.
- Previous Programming experience.
- Experience with indicator & height stand, and micrometers.
Skills
- Good organizational and planning skills.
Minimum requirements
- Lifting of 20lbs
- On feet for 8-12 hrs.
- Ability to read Indictors, Micrometers
- Ability for follow schedules
