Duties:
- Administer and optimize Linux servers (Redhat) to run bioinformatics workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Oversee patch and package management, troubleshoot Linux kernel issues, and harden file system servers.
- Handle Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP administration in Windows environments. Collaborate with IT teams on server management projects and documentation
- Create and utilize BASH scripts, and use Python and R to manipulate container outputs and automate command line operations.
- Manage incoming tickets, troubleshoot server issues, and maintain server integrity.
- 3 years of previous experience in Linux Administration experience with Redhat.
- Proficiency in Python scripting, along with BASH scripting capabilities.
- Experience with POSIT (formerly R Studio) and Zscaler
- Windows Administration experience: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with management and end users in a visible, client-facing role.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
