- Previous experience working in a fiber or wireless provider NOC environment is highly preferred.
- Must have a growth mindset, demonstrate grit, and be resourceful in solving complex issues.
- A degree is not required; however, if no degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant job experience is necessary. With a degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with OSI Layer 1 and Layer 3.
- Excellent communication skills, including good grammar, to effectively document and communicate incidents and resolutions.
- Provide foundational support for monitoring and managing core, distribution, carrier last mile, and customer premise voice and data services.
- Assist with routine network surveillance, basic system troubleshooting, and documenting incidents and their resolutions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to escalate complex issues and learn how to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, 24x7 network operations center environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of deployed technologies, while contributing to maintaining operational documentation.
Salary : $68,000 - $72,000
