Allied is looking for Manager, Corporate Finance to join our Accounting and Finance team in Toronto.

In the role of Manager, Corporate Finance, you will manage the full accounting cycle for the corporate entities, reviewing bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, internal and external reporting schedules, and wire transfers, driving the corporate departments' annual budgeting cycle and the consolidation of the budget.

What will you do?
- Manage the full accounting cycle for the corporate entities, including reviewing account and bank reconciliations, journal entries, wires, and supporting working papers.
- Review and analyze corporate entities' income statement and balance sheet to ensure accurate and complete monthly results.
- Review and assist in the preparation of quarter-end and year-end schedules for the financial statements, the management discussion and analysis, and the Board of Trustees.
- Review and prepare variance analyses for internal management reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Lead the annual budget cycle and quarterly reforecasting cycle for corporate entities, which includes liaising with corporate department heads to communicate relevant information, identify risks, concerns, and impacts, and provide value-added insights and detailed analyses.
- Prepare the consolidation of the budget with key performance metrics.
- Mentor team members to elevate and build their skill sets.
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvement and efficiencies.
- Support (in some cases lead) discussions with internal and external auditors.
- Support various special projects and ad hoc analyses as they arise.
