Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Allied Reliability, Inc. in South Beloit, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and repair all production equipment in assigned areas.
- Understand complex drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot basic 3-phase electrical components and control voltage problems.
- Electronically troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment using computer software.
- Effectively weld repairs on equipment.
- Work independently on maintenance projects, including new equipment installs and rebuilds.
- Fabricate or modify support components of equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/maintenance technician.
- Strong attention to detail and solid troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all departments.
