What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Controls Technician position at Allied Reliability?
Allied Reliability is seeking a PLC Electrical ControlsTechnnician. Candidates should have some programming knowledge (Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi).
The PLC Technician will be responsible to install, maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems at the plant. The electrician will need to make sure all systems are running efficiently and in compliance with codes, standards and environmental regulations.
Job Responsibilities :
- Inspect, maintain, repair electrical and electronic equipment, using a variety of test equipment, meters, powered and nonpowered tools and equipment.
- Install new electrical and electronic equipment, wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards.
- Maintain and repair current electrical and electronic systems.
- Work safely and cooperatively with department personnel and plant personnel
- Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations
- Responsible for lockout / tagout procedures as mandated by company policy and OSHA regulations
