Floating Compliance Specialist Position Available in the Shoreline and Tacoma Area -- Excellent Career Opportunity.

We currently have an opening for an experienced full time Floating Compliance Specialist in the Shoreline and Tacoma Area. The right candidate will have a can-do attitude, is a self-starter and works well in a team. If this sounds like you, then we would like to hear from you.

We offer:

  • $25-$28 per hour
  • Full time employees earn 152 Hours or 19 days of PTO per year with the ability to carry over up to 80 hours a year. Increased PTO after 6 and 9 consecutive years with Allied Residential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned

  • Travel to assigned communities to assist with compliance for move-in, interim certification, annual certification, and lease-up activities as needed
  • Show prospective apartments, explain occupancy terms and amenities
  • Inform prospective residents of availability of nearby schools, shopping malls, recreational facilities, and public transportation.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly annual recertification notices
  • Prepare and complete move-in, interim, annual, and initial certifications
  • Prepare monthly Compliance Reports
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings, as assigned

Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Experience - Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Math Ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills - Must have solid understanding and high level of proficiency with Microsoft’s Office Suite/Office 365, primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must be proficient with remote work platforms, including but not limited to smart phones and online security best practices. Working knowledge of industry-specific platforms, such as Yard or RealPage is highly preferred.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Attention to Detail - Must have high attention to detail / detail-oriented

Travel - Personal vehicle travel between locations, sites, and events required. Vehicle and driver must be registered, licensed, and insured. Mileage between sites; from home to sites; or sites to home is not paid. Mileage for special errands or events must be pre-approved by the Portfolio Manager assigned to the affected sites
