Settlement Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Settlement Specialist to support energy market operations by analyzing market rules, validating settlement data, and optimizing business processes. This role involves daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, supplier invoicing, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct energy scheduling activities, including forecasting, capacity filing, and data updates.
- Ensure timely and accurate energy market submissions and compliance with ISO requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes and data integrity.
- Review and document business processes to support system improvements.
- Participate in ISO member committee meetings and stay updated on regulatory changes.
Top Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of analytical or problem-solving experience.
- Strong data research skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lead small teams, foster collaboration, and drive projects to completion.
