We're currently seeking a seasoned Estimator to lead our project cost management efforts in the energy sector.
Role Overview:
This key position requires a deep understanding of electrical component estimation, as well as excellent project management skills to oversee proposals and ensure timely completion.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing project estimates, ensuring accurate budgeting and planning.
- Coordinating proposal development, prioritizing high-priority estimates within a small to medium-sized portfolio.
- Submitting RFIs to gather necessary information from vendors.
- Validating labor and material takeoffs for accuracy before final quotation.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in heavy construction projects or related fields.
- Familiarity with construction management best practices.
- Proficiency in using estimating software, such as Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating, etc.
