A Learning and Talent Management Consultant is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our learning and talent processes and systems, including Workday, Sharepoint, and LinkedIn Learning as well as future systems added. This role is responsible for capturing learning and talent processes and data, providing guidance on how to access learning and development opportunities aligned with organizational goals, by managing system administration, content development, user access, reporting (dashboards), and ongoing system improvements to maximize employee performance and career growth.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Needs Analysis and Recommend Solutions (25%)
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of organization’s current learning and talent development needs, identifying skill gaps, performance issues, and training requirements to recommend repeatable and sustainable solutions and resources
- Conduct needs analysis and develop training curriculum to support performance and developmental growth opportunities (i.e. learning paths, cascading goals, etc.)
- Lead for Learning Management System (LMS – WorkDay), Sharepoint, LinkedIn Learning, and any system connection to learning to create dashboards to drive learning engagement; partnering as needed with internal teams
- Utilize LMS to support talent identification, performance management, and employee development initiatives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of systems and training using data analytics to assess the effectiveness of our learning systems and programs
- Seek knowledge on new systems and learning approaches to provide innovative solutions to positively impact learning retention
- Develop dashboards to share learning usage and talent results to drive focused career development
- Develop, support, and educate on processes for learning; performance and talent management, including, but not limited to templates, SOPs, training items, tools, resources, state of talent, learning resources
- Collaborate with HR leadership to develop a comprehensive talent management strategy, including succession planning and career development pathways
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with business goals
- Consulting skills to build and maintain partnerships
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Experience with Articulate, Sharepoint, LMS dashboards (reporting required), Camtasia, Canva, Video authoring tools preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 8 – 10 years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience with WorkDay and Power BI preferred
- Data analysis skills to interpret usage patterns and measure training effectiveness (share with business via dashboard)
- Understand and application of adult learning theory including, ADDIE development methodology and Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Careful listener and effective communicator.
- Excellent collaborator and project management skills – building and communicating project updates
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize projects, work independently, and meet established deadlines
- Curious learner with coaching mindset and approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented approach, and ability to establish rapport and build and sustain trust quickly and effectively
- Possess a learning/growth mindset, collaborate cross-functionally, seek and feedback
- Expertise in talent management practices, including performance management and succession planning
