Allied Staff Augmentation Partners, Inc. (ASAP, Inc.) is hiring an experienced Mechanical Equipment Obsolescence Expert to support our clients' needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating replacement parts for obsolete equipment.
The Mechanical Equipment Obsolescence Expert will be responsible for communicating with vendors, managing data in our Parts and Obsolescence Management System (POMS), and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate replacements are identified.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, others) or demonstrated equivalent technical knowledge through work experience
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in electrical or mechanical engineering fields or demonstrated through work experience
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to equipment and parts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
