Description:
This role will support the Supplier Diversity program, specifically as it relates to contract compliance and document controls.
- Primarily support and build contract compliance electronic filing system and document controls. • Support Business/Supplier Diversity and stakeholders by developing, compiling, analyzing, and reporting diverse spend, related contract compliance requirements and metrics utilizing a variety of tools involving procurement activities for specific assigned contracts. • Identify NYS-certified minority, women and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses and NYS small businesses for upcoming and active projects. • Support future implementation of tracking database / tools / document controls to assist in contract compliance and future audits. • Support outreach activities by maintaining strong relationships with suppliers in the region to support Supplier Diversity goals. • Provide weekly reports of supplier diversity metrics and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate/resolve outstanding requests. • Assist team with stakeholder communications • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Sharepoint • Strong analytical problem-solving skills • Competence in collecting and analyzing data • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and work groups Powerpoint/Visio skills - Visual Data depiction experience - Tableau/Excel/MS Office experience • Previous experience with contract compliance management preferred
