Position Overview:

• This role will support the Supplier Diversity Program, specifically as it relates our suite of business development programs
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Primarily support business development program by developing course curriculum with identified external and internal stakeholders.
• Develop measurable metrics to monitor and measure program growth and effectiveness.
• Support Business/Supplier Diversity and stakeholders by developing, compiling, analyzing, and tracking program participants through program journey, including creating a monthly dashboard and/or systemic data collection approach.
• Identify NYS-certified minority, women and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses and NYS small businesses that are ideal candidates for the program.
• Develop and provide input on development of course material and outreach communication.
• Support outreach activities by supporting relationship building activities with suppliers in the industry.
• Assist team with stakeholder communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Competence in collecting and analyzing data
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams and work groups
• PowerPoint/Visio skills
• Visual Data depiction experience - Tableau/Excel/MS Office experience
• Previous experience with business development program development, data collection and reporting, and/or NYS minority and women-owned business enterprise and NYS service-disabled veteran-owned business programs preferred.
