THE POSITION

Allied Interior Solution is actively searching for dedicated and reliable Janitors to maintain cleanliness and organization across our facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and professional work environment. The ideal candidates will take initiative, follow safety guidelines, and efficiently complete cleaning tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in assigned areas.
• Dust, polish, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors, and restock supplies.
• Wash windows, walls, furniture, and baseboards as needed.
• Maintain and organize janitorial supply inventory, reporting shortages when necessary.
• Conduct safety inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety and security procedures, including the use of PPE.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TRAINING):

• Preferred Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required Experience:
  • None (entry-level position, on-the-job training provided).
• Preferred Experience:
  • Prior janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance experience.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and safe handling.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet the physical demands of the role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, which may include exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Employees may be required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and buffers.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• No travel required for this position.
