SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
The Production Supervisor at our cabinetry manufacturing facility is a frontline leader responsible for overseeing production processes and managing a dedicated team. This role focuses on implementing operational processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the production team. This position plays a crucial role in advancing operational excellence in stone manufacturing through effective leadership and team management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for efficient and effective stone manufacturing operations.
- Lead and supervise the production team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Implement operational processes and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
- Manage resources effectively, including manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and maximize efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with R&D to introduce new technologies and processes.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for machinery.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
